Job Description:
The group you’ll be a part of In the Global Products Group, we
are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lams
etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our
cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges
in the semiconductor industry. The impact you’ll make Lam Research
is seeking graduates with a background in plasma science and
engineering. The selected candidates will conduct fundamental
research in plasmas and apply scientific principles to the
development of next-generation industrial products. What you’ll do
Develop conceptual designs, perform computational modeling, build
prototypes, and validate design concepts in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other engineers to address plasma-related
challenges and provide technical solutions for internal and
external customers. Who we’re looking for PhD graduates in
Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics,
or related fields) with 0-3 years professional experience.
Educational background and expertise in low-temperature plasmas
through hands-on laboratory experiments or analytical/computational
modeling. Preferred qualifications Strong problem-solving and
troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills for
effective collaboration in a cross-functional team setting. Ability
to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with
colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two
categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll
work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier
location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of
the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a
Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the
