Job Description Mid-Level Civil Engineer Tualatin, Oregon Pay: $85,000-$95,000 Work Setting: In-Person Or Hybrid (combine in-office & remote work) We are seeking a Mid-Level Civil Engineer with experience in transit and transportation infrastructure to join our growing team in Tualatin, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the design and delivery of high-impact transportation and transit projects, including bus rapid transit, rail transit stations, and rail improvement projects . Position Responsibilities Lead and support the design and management of civil engineering aspects for transportation, transit and railway projects Prepare and review detailed track alignment plans, drainage design, specifications, and cost estimates Conduct field work, project inspections, and agency coordination meetings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client engagement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon (or ability to obtain within 12 months) 4–8 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in transportation or transit projects Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D ; track alignment design software experience is a plus Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Compensation & Benefits Company-paid employee medical and dental benefits Company-paid 10 holidays Company-paid sick pay Company-paid vacation 401(k) with employer match Disability benefits Life insurance Continuing education and professional development opportunities Additional Information OEI is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace .
