Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and fabrication industry, is seeking a dedicated Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the fabrication and assembly of plastic fittings and structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Fabrication Associate Location: Washougal, WA Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00/hour Position Type: 3 Month Contract-to-Hire Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM What's the Job? Operate hand and hydraulic fusion welding equipment to assemble plastic fittings and structures. Fabricate various sizes and types of plastic components in the plastics fabrication shop. Use power tools such as grinders, sawzalls, routers, and more to support fabrication tasks. Read and interpret drawings or blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and wearing PPE at all times. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED completion. Some construction or mechanical experience is required. Ability to read tape measures accurately within 1/8 inch. Mechanical aptitude and experience with power tools and welding equipment.
