Systems Manager , you'll have the exciting opportunity to mentor
and guide our talented Epic Information Systems Supervisor and a
team of Epic Support Analysts and Epic Trainers. You'll be
empowering them to reach their full potential and fostering a
high-performing team that's passionate about innovation and
excellence. You'll also be the driving force behind critical
improvement projects, the champion of streamlined technology-based
processes, and the architect of systems that adapt to the
ever-evolving needs of our organization.Your primary
responsibilities include:
- Managing quality and change for Epic and Wisdom to meet goals
and regulations by improving processes and evaluating results.
- Maintaining accurate and connected data in Epic by setting
rules, fixing problems, ensuring privacy and security, and
participating in related groups.
- Oversees all aspects of Epic applications - from planning to
fixing - to keep them reliable and solve user problems quickly,
including managing the IT support system.
- Leads collaboration with OCHIN and internal stakeholders,
evaluates vendor services, provides audits and reports, coordinates
end-user training, develops best practices, and manages the EHR
change control process, serving as an escalation point for complex
issues and vendor relationships.
- Lead the rollout of business and operational plans for clinical
systems, using new tools to work better, finding helpful Epic
features, managing project schedules, and working with other Health
Department teams.
- Leads and manages the Epic team by overseeing hiring, staffing
levels, performance evaluations, professional growth, and clear
role definitions to ensure high performance standards.
- Fosters a culture of trust, accountability, and transparency
within the team, addresses performance issues, communicates the
importance of diversity and inclusion, and collaborates with HR to
develop and maintain job profiles.
- Manages the financial aspects of the Epic Program, including
developing and monitoring budgets, approving invoices, justifying
recommendations, forecasting needs, and preparing

- Previous experience managing Epic teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Epic Ambulatory
software application.
- Demonstrated experience specifically in optimizing the Epic EHR
system.
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
- Experience with Epic electronic health records processes.
- Experience leading and supervising teams.
- Proven track record of effective leadership and team
management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster a
