About Recovery Works NW:As a family-owned community organization addressing a medical and social epidemic, we focus on innovative, judgement-free, and compassionate solutions for substance use and mental health-related distress.Position SummaryThe Director of Operations is responsible for managing practice operations for all Recovery Works NW locations. The Director of Operations will apply strong business acumen and leadership to identify and implement directives that result in strong practice performance, operational efficiency, and a positive work environment for all staff. The position fosters collaboration among all levels of the RWNW team by aligning cross-functional strategies. This role will be hybrid with the expectation of at least 4 days a week in office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management:
  • Oversee clinic front desk and detox and outpatient intake operations to ensure maximum efficiency across multiple locations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and employee performance.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee the daily operations of all clinic locations, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with front line managers to ensure adherence to standards of care, service quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify areas for financial improvement and work to increase profitability across locations.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure all clinic locations are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support medical leadership with DEA compliance.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication:
  • Foster strong communication across teams, ensuring information flows effectively between clinic staff, management, and executive leadership.
  • Lead regular operational meetings to review performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Technology & Innovation:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and optimize electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinic technologies.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, patient care, and staff productivity.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in healthcare operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with clinic management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.Benefits
