Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care while adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Provide health coaching, therapy, and education to patients regarding their mental health conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest practices in mental health care and relevant ICD-10 coding.Experience
  • A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health is required.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required
  • Experience in patient care within a psychiatric setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques is advantageous.
