Job Description MedCadre is seeking a local contract Clinical Pharmacist for a local contract job in Eugene, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Clinical Pharmacist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Eugene, OR Schedule & Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Expected Hours : 8 hours a day, 40 hours weekly Job type: Contract Position Summary: The Pharmacist will play a key role in medication management, patient education, and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills, great attention to detail, and a service-driven mindset. This position is ideal for professionals committed to safety, accuracy, and quality care in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. - Accurately dispense medications per legal and regulatory requirements. - Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. - Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) to improve patient outcomes. - Monitor treatment progress and recommend medication adjustments. - Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality. - Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently, ensuring availability and minimizing waste. - Provide education related to physiology and medication therapy. Required Qualifications: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited program. - Active Pharmacist License in Oregon. - Solid understanding of clinical pharmacy principles and medical management. - Excellent communication and patient service skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary care teams. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and inventory management skills.
