summary: The Echocardiograph Technologist performs cardiac
ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment to assist
in diagnosing heart conditions and supporting physicians with
invasive echocardiography procedures. The role requires
certification from recognized professional bodies and knowledge of
anatomy, physiology, and specialized cardiovascular sonography
techniques. This part-time, day-shift position is based at
Providence Newberg Medical Center and offers comprehensive benefits

Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence Newberg Medical Center
in Newberg, OR Part-Time/Day Shift $4,000 Sign-on Bonus for
eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment –
this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation
package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of
employment. Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to
physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound
equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of
disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations
including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography,
Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific),
pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location
specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological
stress echocardiography. Has the ability to modify procedures, to
meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful
information on a cost-effective basis. Will comply with the
standards set forth by the American Society of Echocardiography and
departmental policies and procedures. Providence caregivers are not

them. Required Qualifications: Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer. Upon
hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular
Credentialing International. Or Upon hire: National Advanced
Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Upon
hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred
Qualifications: Associate's Degree Applied Science, from a CAAHPE
accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology, or
Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 1 year Experience performing
cardiovascular ultrasound examinations, OR Minimum of 800 exams
using all imaging modalities available. Pediatric echocardiography
experience. Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart
failure patients (mechanical support devices). Experience with echo
guided trans-catheter procedures. (St. Vincent Medical Center). Why
