Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Provide direct care for acutely and critically ill patients at high risk for life-threatening health problems • Work in intensive monitoring environment requiring advanced assessments and interventions • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required • AHA ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred • Previous ICU experience preferred • High school diploma or equivalent verification required due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing • Utilize advanced knowledge and experience in intensive care setting • Perform continuous monitoring and complex interventions for critically ill patients Facility: This regional medical center operates a comprehensive Intensive Care Unit that specializes in caring for acutely and critically ill patients.
