Job Description:
Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Certified Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are a
patient-centric practice focused on delivering exceptional dental
care in a relaxing and modern environment. The ideal candidate will
assist in providing comprehensive dental services, while ensuring
comfort and quality care. This role involves supporting dentists
during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining
dental health records. Our practice serves a diverse community and
offers services ranging from preventative care to cosmetic and
restorative dentistry. Join us in our mission to enhance smiles and
improve dental health within our community. Assist dentists during
various dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort. Prepare
treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary
equipment is ready for use. Take and process dental X-rays. Record
patient care and treatment details in electronic health records.
Provide patients with postoperative instructions and general oral
healthcare advice. Manage supplies and inventory of dental
materials. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing
follow-up care. Strong clinical skills in various dental assistant
tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient
in using dental record software. Capable of working under pressure
in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong
organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from
the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Compliance with state
dental practice requirements (e.g., X-ray certification).
