Description Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging for MRI at Providence
Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift The
Supvr-Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor performs all duties of a
diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer (including direct
patient care) with expanded responsibilities of overseeing daily
operations in multiple care environments; ensures policies and
procedures are developed, utilized and maintained to adhere to
organizational and regulatory requirements; assists manager in
ensuring that the service functions and caregivers are in
compliance with regulations / guidelines set forth by accrediting
bodies, payors and professional licensing organizations;
demonstrates organization and leadership of meetings, manual review
and creation / oversight of posted communications. In addition,
they are the primary resource for caregiver orientation,
development, and ongoing satisfaction. Providence caregivers are

them. Required Qualifications: - Oregon Medical Imaging License
from Oregon State Board upon hire. - National Certification from
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. Or -
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic
Medical Sonography upon hire. Or - National Certified MRI
Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Technologists upon hire. Or - National Certification from Nuclear
Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. - National
Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. - 5 years
working as a diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer. - 2
years in a leadership (i.e. Supervisor, Coordinator, or Lead)
capacity in an Imaging Department. Preferred Qualifications: -
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
