Orthopedics Oregon Facility Setting: Acute Care Hospital |
Inpatient & Emergency Department Orthopedic Services We are seeking
a Board-Certified NP or PA for a full-time Orthopedic APP locum
opportunity with an ASAP start . This role offers hands-on
orthopedic care in a collaborative hospital-based setting. ? Role
Highlights Inpatient & ED orthopedic coverage Advanced diagnostic &
therapeutic procedures First assist in orthopedic surgery Epic EMR
documentation Multidisciplinary team collaboration Call coverage
included (weekday, weekend & 24-hour rotation) Key Responsibilities
? Daily rounds and comprehensive patient management ? Develop and
implement care plans with attending physicians ? Respond to
orthopedic consults in ED & inpatient units ? Perform diagnostic
studies and orthopedic procedures ? Assist surgeons
intraoperatively and post-op ? Complete H&Ps, discharge
summaries, and clinical documentation ? Participate in quality,
safety, and multidisciplinary initiatives ? Procedures May Include
• Joint & bursa aspirations/injections • Closed reduction of
fractures & dislocations • Cast, splint & brace applications •
Wound closure, debridement & I&D • Tendon repair, pinning,
hardware & K-wire removal • Regional anesthesia & digital blocks
Requirements ? Requirements ? Board Certified NP or PA ? Active
Oregon state license ? Full-time availability ? Eligible for
medical staff / allied health privileges ? NPDB Self-Query at
submission ? CAQH profile at offer stage ? Ability to work
