Must-Have: Must have a vehicle for this assignment Description:
This is a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse position for
first-time travelers. The role involves day and night rotations
with variable shifts. Caregivers typically receive ample notice to
ensure adequate rest between shifts. The position may float between
units based on skill sets and facility needs. On-call duty may be
required due to patient census fluctuations. Weekend work may be
necessary, with a possibility of every other weekend. The expected
patient ratio is 4:1. Caregivers should be aware that travelers may
be assigned to other units if necessary. Floating may occur within
affiliated facilities based on staffing needs. Candidates are to
commit to working three of the five major holidays. All requests
for time off must be made upfront during application submission.
Post-submission requests for time off may not be considered.
Refusal to float may result in assignment termination. Applicants
are required to have supervisory references from the past year.
Charting experience in electronic health records is necessary.
Candidates should be flexible in their scheduling and expectations.
This role provides opportunities to work within a supportive
interdisciplinary team. Applicants must be prepared for possible
floating between nearby facilities. All applicants must possess a
reliable vehicle for travel to assignments. Standard daily census
includes adult and geriatric patients. The unit features a
