Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Portland, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,960 to $2,120 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $49.00 - $53.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) assists in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. The CST prepares operating rooms, ensures the sterility of instruments, and supports the surgical team during procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical workflow. Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring equipment is functional. Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques. Handle surgical specimens according to protocol. Assist in patient positioning, draping, and monitoring during surgery.
