Surgical Tech Location: Corvallis, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,158 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 16 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Technologist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days/varied, no weekends Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Option 1: Successful completion of a training program for surgical technologists in a military branch or in the United States Public Health Service. - 16 hours of continuing education every two years relevant to surgical technology. - Option 2: Successful completion of a surgical technology education program accredited by a relevant commission. - Certification issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or completion of an accredited educational program within the past twelve months. - Option 3: Practiced surgical technology for at least two years between January 1, 2014, and January 1, 2017. - 16 hours of continuing education every two years relevant to surgical technology. Description: The Ambulatory Surgery Center provides pre, intra, and post-operative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We serve a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. Our team collaborates with various specialty providers to care for individuals undergoing outpatient surgery. Experience or training in computer applications is preferred.
