American Medical Response (AMR) seeks a seasoned EMS Lead Instructor to join our dynamic training team. This pivotal role focuses on designing and delivering educational programs that prepare EMS professionals to provide top-notch emergency medical services. As a leader in our educational department, the Lead Instructor will enhance the competencies of our staff, ensuring that they are efficient, qualified, and well-prepared to support AMR's mission of making a difference in communities across the U.S. through skilled medical response and patient transport. Develop and update curriculum for EMS training programs according to national standards. Lead classroom and practical instruction sessions, and coordinate field internships. Evaluate educational outcomes and adjust program structure and content as necessary. Mentor and supervise other instructors and participants. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning EMS education. Proficient in EMS operational skills and advanced life support Strong teaching and mentorship abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Experience with curriculum development and training assessment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification State EMS Instructor certification CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor certifications
