We are seeking Lead Line Cooks at Ikigai in Carlton, Oregon. Ikigai is a new Pan-Asian restaurant located in Oregon Wine Country on Main Street in Carlton. Do you have Line Cook experience and/or experience with Asian cooking? Come and join our team making delicious dumplings, sushi, broth, rice, seafood, interesting ferments, farm fresh ingredients and much more. We are looking for Lead Cooks with previous experience preparing and cooking Asian food and/or a passion for learning new things. Will train the right people. Must work clean, focused, and well with a close-knit team. Asian food and high-volume experience, highly valued. Opportunity is for full-time work. We are looking for the right fit with the team and atmosphere of the organization. If you have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, we want you on our team. We are an experienced, growing, locally owned, restaurant group and have local expansion plans including catering and additional local space. The sky is the limit for hard working, driven people! As usual Must be able to work weekends and evenings, hold a food handler s license, agile, able to lift heavy things, comfortable in a busy environment and committed to quality food and service.
