Integration Engineer is a crucial individual contributor on the
Governance Team within Providences centralized Cybersecurity
department, acting as the technical liaison between cybersecurity
and various business units. This role is responsible for
understanding business objectives and workflows, then enabling the
design and implementation of secure technical solutions that
seamlessly integrate cybersecurity controls into existing and new
business processes and technologies. The Cybersecurity Senior
Service Integration Engineer collaborates closely with business
stakeholders, developers, architects, and other cybersecurity team
members to ensure security is embedded from the ground up, aligning
with the companys overall security posture and the NIST CSF 2.0

aCybersecurity Senior Service Integration Engineer IS This role is
a hybrid position and will report into a primary hub location
weekly as scheduled Essential Functions: Designs and integrates
cybersecurity controls: Proactively works with business units and
development teams to identify security integration points and
design, configure, and implement cybersecurity controls directly
into business applications, systems, and workflows. Provides expert
security consultation: Serves as the primary technical
cybersecurity consultant for business-led projects and IT
initiatives, ensuring security best practices are adopted from
design through implementation. Contributes to secure solution
architecture: Collaborates with Solution Architects to develop and
apply practical, integrated security solutions that align with
enterprise solution architecture principles and standards.
Remediates and hardens systems: Actively identifies and
participates in or leads efforts to implement robust remediation
and hardening measures for security vulnerabilities in business
applications and integrations. Integrates cybersecurity tools:
Integrates various cybersecurity tools and platforms into the
existing business technology stack to enhance overall security
capabilities. Documents security solutions: Creates and maintains
comprehensive documentation for integrated cybersecurity solutions
including design implementation guides, and operational procedures.
Automates security processes: Identifies opportunities and
implements automation for cybersecurity controls and processes
within business workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual
effort. Ensures policy adherence: Guarantees that all designed and
implemented integrated cybersecurity solutions and processes
strictly align with the organizations cybersecurity policy, which
is based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. Applies project
and program management knowledge: Utilizes familiarity with project
management methodologies, DevSecOps, and the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC) to effectively integrate security practices into
ongoing programs and initiatives. Communicates and presents
effectively: Clearly and concisely articulates complex technical
and security concepts to diverse audiences, including technical
teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring
understanding and buy-in. Fosters cross-functional communication:
Effectively communicates complex technical cybersecurity concepts
to both technical and non-technical business stakeholders,
fostering collaboration and understanding Required qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Mathematics, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or another related field
of study 5 or more years of related experience Experience in
automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other
manual processes Experience with n-tier solutions Experience with
resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate
service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms
(manually) Experience influencing software engineering team members
in translating customer and technical requirements into service
architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations Experience
leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and
standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site
requirements Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive
behavior, process, and priority decisions Using logic and reasoning
to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,
conclusions, or approaches to problems Experience in problem
solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems
utilizing root cause analysis Preferred qualifications: Experience
in a Healthcare environment 5 or more years of experience in IT or
Cybersecurity Cyber security certification such as CISSP or similar
Experience interacting with executive level leadership Experience
