Job Description Our client seeking a full-time Litigation
Associate Attorney with 3–8 years of civil litigation experience,
primarily focusing on asbestos defense, to join their Portland,
Oregon office. This position offers the chance to work within a
collaborative, high-performing team with opportunities for growth,
mentorship, and significant responsibility. Remote and hybrid work
arrangements are available. The role involves managing all aspects
of civil litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings,
motions, and discovery, as well as handling hearings, depositions,
client communication, and trial preparation. Candidates must have
an active Oregon Bar license; Washington Bar admission is a plus
but not required. While asbestos litigation experience is
preferred, it is not mandatory. We seek someone with strong legal
research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along
with excellent organizational and communication abilities. The
ideal candidate can manage multiple matters efficiently in a
fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail and the
ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
