Sysco, a global front-runner in food product distribution, is currently seeking a motivated and dependable CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to our esteemed customers, including restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, and hospitality businesses. As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to enhance our supply chain efficiency and directly contribute to our company's success. Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck in accordance with DOT and company regulations to deliver goods to customers safely, efficiently, and on time. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all shipments are correctly and safely secured. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment and maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and mileage. Follow set routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by management. Maintain communication with dispatch and management to report delays, unsafe site conditions, accidents, or other traffic situations. Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service during delivery, addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly. Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices, payment collection, and proof of delivery as required. Proficiency in operating GPS and other navigation systems to determine the best route. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions. Basic knowledge of truck maintenance. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A). Must have a clean driving record. DOT Medical Card.
