Job Description:
Sysco is a world leader in providing food products to various
sectors such as restaurants, healthcare, and education. We are
seeking a highly motivated and organized Delivery Driver Supervisor
to oversee our fleet of delivery drivers. This individual will
ensure that all deliveries are completed on time, safely, and
efficiently, while upholding the highest standards of customer
service and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage and
supervise a team of delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate
delivery of goods to various customers. Plan, schedule, and oversee
daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer
satisfaction. Monitor driver performance through tracking systems
and on-road audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and
operational protocols. Coordinate maintenance and repair of
delivery vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition and meet
safety standards. Train new drivers on route navigation, customer
service, and safety protocols. Address and resolve customer
complaints related to delivery service promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain
records for inspections and licenses. Strong leadership and team
management skills Excellent organizational and time management
abilities Proficiency in GPS and route management software Capable
of physical work, including lifting boxes and operating delivery
equipment as needed Exceptional customer service and
problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both verbal
and written Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management
are beneficial.
