Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our
nursing team in providing top-tier healthcare services at our
facilities across Oregon and Washington. As part of a respected
non-profit health system, the Nurse Manager will play a crucial
role in shaping the quality of care through effective management of
nursing staff and resources. This position offers the opportunity
to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is prioritized
and innovation in healthcare is embraced. Oversee daily operations
in nursing departments including staffing, scheduling, and patient
care quality. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
that comply with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage
budgeting for the nursing department, ensuring efficient use of
resources. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance
evaluations, promoting professional development and accountability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve
patient outcomes and healthcare services. Ensure the maintenance of
accurate patient care records and adherence to confidentiality
protocols. Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and
service delivery efficiency. Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency
in healthcare management systems and electronic health records
Ability to resolve conflicts and handle stressful situations
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including safety and quality
standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Oregon or Washington Certification in Nurse Management (such as
CNML or NE-BC) preferred
